Under the Hood is one of a number of campaigns being run in the UK by organisations determined to see young people treated fairly in our society.

Young People Now developed the Positive Images campaign which aims to encourage a positive image of young people in the media. This was responsible for really drawing attention to the negative picture of young people that we often get from politics and the media.

Barnardo’s has just launched its New Life ad campaign with the message that children and young people need help to restart troubled lives.

This huge campaign includes a request to stop seeing young people as a threat, and instead focus attention on how they and their parents can be given support.
