Clubs for Young People (formerly known as National Association of Boys Clubs) has been championing the role of the local voluntary community based youth club and the community leader for over 80 years. Through our membership network we support 30,000 adult volunteers working in over 3,000 voluntary youth clubs, youth groups and projects across the UK, helping over 400,000 young people to have fun, to learn, grow and make a positive contribution in their communities. This network consists of our community based member clubs (who work with young people directly), city and county organisations who provide locally tailored support to clubs and projects on a daily basis, and the national office, which as well as providing national representation, advocacy, and resources, offers specialist capacity-building through a team of regional development workers.
With consistently high standards and a strong collective identity, working across the UK with a dedicated team of staff and volunteers both in the clubs and in our city and county organisations, we know that together we make a difference every day in the lives of young people. We believe in the potential of all young people and that our clubs provide opportunities and places for this to be realised. We are committed to ensuring that more and better clubs are developed wherever they are needed.
