Clubs for Young People wanted to highlight and champion the role of youth clubs, defining what a great club is. This became, and has become, even more relevant with the announcement and implementation of the myplace scheme during the Inquiry process.
The Inquiry team initiated a consultation process with local clubs, young people and experts in the field. During the Inquiry it was evident there were clear views about an ideal club, but that there were also a number of barriers to making this a reality. This is reflected in the final report.
